Destruction Engineering

Reliability Engineering considers probabilities of destruction. But it does not consider "Why destroyed ?".

Destruction Engineering considers the mechanism. One of the approaches studies the crack on the level of atoms . The other studies the relationship between the forces and the time of destruction.

Causes of Destruction

The casuse of the growth of cracks is not only the forces. There are other causes.

• High temperture : High temperture activates atoms.
• Corrosion : The corrosion occurs by chemical reactions.
• Resonation frequency : All structures have this frequency. And it occurs large movement.
• Overshoot : Overshoot is the value on the way of Control . Even if the last controled condition is right, previous condition may destroy the material.
