Fishbone diagram (Cause-and-Effect Diagram) PERT stands for "Program Evaluation and Review Technique". It is also called "arrow diagram" and one of new seven QC tools . It is used in industrial engineering .
IT is used to analyze the time of the process. PERT is not so useful in the process like a line. But if there are junctions or branches in the process, PERT is useful.
"Critical path" is the most constrained path. And improvement of the path brings the largest effect. It is important to find the path.
