If the number of the factor is 1 and levels of the factor is two, minimum number of experiments is 2.

But if uneveness is important, repeat is needed. So minimum number is 4 ( = 2 * 2).

If the number of the factor more than 1 ,repeat is also importatn to evaluate interaction .
